If an item fails to meet your expectations,simply notify us by email within 7 days of the items arrival & then return it to us and we will take it back for an exchange or full refund of the product cost minus all shipping charges.

Returned goods must be sent back using a registered method, so that the item can be successfully tracked.


Please allow one billing cycle for a credit card refund to appear on your statement.

Please remember, refunds on shipping and handling are credited only when an item is incorrectly shipped.


Product Availability

We strive to have products in stock and ready to ship whenever you place your order,usually within 3 working days of payment receipt, however, many of our items are hand-made artisan products and some may take a few days extra to be ready.

We will always advise you of estimated shipping dates if likely to be later than 3 working days.

Product Specifications

Our products are mainly hand-made which means that whilst we take every precaution to ensure that the products we send to you match the one that you have seen on the web-site it is inevitable that there could be small deviations in size, colour and finish.

If there is any significant difference we will ask for you to confirm that you do still want the goods prior to shipment.

Hand-carvings and hand-made products are just that, they are beautiful one off pieces of artisan work, and we celebrate this craft at Visit-Chiang-Mai-Online.

Shipping,Insurance & Tax


We ship to many countries around the world, and always use the most cost effective method to reach your door safely.

For smaller packages (up to 20kgs), we use Thailand Post Economy Airmail (SAL), typically deliveries to Australia & Asia take 10-14 days, Europe 14-21 days & USA & Canada 21-28 days.

For larger packages (21kgs – 40kgs) we ship by FedEx or DHL, usually delivering worldwide in 5-7 days.

For larger items still, or larger volumes we recommend shipping by seafreight as the most cost effective method, albeit deliveries typically take 2-3 months.


Shipping insurance is NOT included in any of our selling prices, this is an additional cost option which has to be specified by the customer.

Taxes & Duty

ANY taxes or duties that are applied within the destination country are not covered within our selling prices, and are therefore the responsibility of the buyer.

YES – The price you see, is the price you pay, HOWEVER if for any reason your country requires ANY additional taxes or duty be levied on your purchase,that as the buyer is your responsibility.

Seperately there are just a few countries who’s shipping costs are prohibitively expensive, in this case we can still ship to you, but you will be required to meet the additional costs.

If I buy more than one item at a time, can I get a discount?

Whatever savings we can generate by shipping multiple items, we are always happy to pass back to you our highly valued customer,this typically is done as a partial refund directly after we have shipped (or just as soon as we know exactly the shipping costs).
