The beautiful lake at The Secret Garden near Chiang Mai

We found The Secret Garden online from our hotel room in Bangkok and thought we'd struck gold.

When we arrived we were not disappointed. From the moment we were met by Peter at the airport to the moment we made our tearful farewells, it could not have been more perfect.

You have to see this place to believe how tranquil, and impressive it is. It seems like only the very nicest people find The Secret Garden, at least all the fellow guests we met there seemed that way.

Peter, Pai and their daughter made us so welcome we didn't want to leave, ever!. On the practical side, it is perfectly placed to visit the city of Chiang Mai, or if you're feeling lazy, just mooching about in the Umbrella Village of Borsang.

Thanks you guys for making our Thai trip so amazing and memorable. We will return one day!.
