Chiang Mai Zoo: Located on the same road that leads to Doi Suthep is the 210 acre Chiang Mai Zoo.

The zoo opened in 2003, and is now home to well over 7,500 animals as well as the brand new Aquarium that houses over 250 species of freshwater & saltwater fish, and has the longest underground walkway in the world !! - not to be missed.

The zoo last year attracted well over 750,000 visitors, but that figure will increase dramatically over the next few years with the new aquarium attraction. A visit to Chiang Mai Zoo is highly recommended.
