Our Thai Asian Adventure

"Out of the blue" we bought a Cudo 5 night stay at Outrigger Koh Samui - wonderful idea, but now, how do we make it all work for us ?

Timing is important and September 2011 looks OK.

We are pensioners in our 70's on a strict budget; I have been to Asia and Bangkok (in 1976 on visit to several countries which helped to re-start Australian-China trade which was closed for so long - I was a manager of a large trading house at the time); my wife has not been outside Australia so this planned venture is important for getting it right !

Our idea is to make the most of our adventure and see as much as we can on a budget; River Kwai and an elephant ride; with experience of culture would be great; my wife loves crafts and to shop of course !

We have thought that we could start from Sydney say 9 or 10 September and stopover in Thailand en route to Koh Samui; we are very open to suggestions please ?
