Come and release your lantern at the Yeepeng festival in Chiang Mai,
    Thailand.
*FYI, Chiang Mai is not flooded.*

This year, it will be held twice:
    * *29 October 2011* (Free admission. I recommend this one)
    * *9 November 2011* (US$100 admission. The organizer decides to held
another one dedicated to foreign guests. Package includes transportation,
    dinner, and souvenirs)

    *Any G+ers coming?*

The Floating Lights Festival is an annual Thai holiday, held in the 2nd
month of the Thai Lanna calender. During this holiday, thousands of
lanterns are lit and launched into the air.
