Favourite places in Hua Hin
....too many to list!

by Philip Bryan
(Hua Hin, Thailand)

The Royal Palace that started the stampede to Hua Hin

The Royal Palace that started the stampede to Hua Hin

I live in Hua Hin & have done so since 2005. It isn't prefect & life can be made "interesting" by some of the Third World's quaint peculiarities, but I still feel a surge of relief whenever I return "home".

I am presently being treated for cancer in Japan but I am counting the moments until I return to Hua Hin shortly.

For me, Pattaya is basically Bangkok with a beach -- to be avoided like a rabid leper!. Phuket is far too foreign & sadly heading along the pathway to being Pattaya Mk 2.

Hua Hin is Thai enough to be interesting, but not too much to be inconvenient. There's a reason so many visitors become residents -- come & find out why!
