Wat Doi Suthep Temple is an extremely famous & important temple in Chiang Mai. Although many tourists visit this temple, it is not just a tourist destination.

The Theravada Buddhism temple is one of the most spiritually important in the whole of Thailand, and thousands of Thai nationals also visit the temple particularly on the most important Buddhist festival dates to pray for happiness, good health & luck!!.

That is the reason why I love Doi Suthep. It is a place where I got to see the locals in action. And of course, climbing 300 steps up the Naga Stairs is always good exercise!
