    Nice video. You shot some great views. I think you got charged more on your
    taxi ride from Chaweng to Lamai (300 Baht) than from the pier (not sure if
    you came in at Nathon or Lipa Noi/Raja Ferry) to Chaweng @ 400 Baht,
    because Chaweng is closer to Lamai than Nathon/Lipa Noi to Chaweng, meaning
    for 400 Baht you went a lot further than for 300 Baht. I love Samui, but
    avoid the taxis/songthaews. Find a local to give you a ride, easy to
    negotiate and the price is better. We do it all the time.


    I stayed at the Lamai Bay View Resort in 1993 for $6 a night. Most
    bungalows in Lamai were about that price then.
