Any Good Suggestions About NOT Using Fish Sauce?

Hi

I suffer from serious allergic reactions to any fish and cannot have any trace of fish in or near my food.

I really love Pad Thai, but despite having spent quite a lot of time looking I can’t find a recipe that doesn’t call for fish sauce.

Anybody have any alternative suggestions?
